On 17th July 2018, La Unió, made a coordination meeting with Grupo Operativo Biodiversidad y Viticultura (Bioviti), for a raw material transfer study for goat food, from rice straw and orange leaves, to grape leaves.

Bioviti is a group attendant to sustainable wine formation and biodiversity improvement through general ecosystemic recovery, phytosanitary product reduction and stablishment of appellations of origin as a strategy for the creation of added value for wine-growing products.
It is coordinated by La Unió and has as partners Asociación Galega de Cooperativas Agroalimentarias (Agaca), Consejo Regulador D.D. Utiel-Requena (CRDOUR), Fundación Global Nature (FGN), la Unión de Campesinos de Castilla y León (UCCL) and Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia (ITG)
