Living Lakes Congress

Between last 7 to 9 of May, took place at the Complex de la Petxina (València, Spain) the international congress Living Lakes, managed by Fundació Global Nature (FGN), which also takes part in the worldwide network for the conservation of lakes and humid zones.


José Castro, project director in La Unió de Llauradors del País Valencià (La Unió), assisted as a representant of project LIFE Low Carbon Feed (LCFEED) for its spread, learning about humid zones sustainable managemnet worldwide –India, Austria, Alemania, China, Reino Unido…–, and the stablishment of a contact network for further replications and transferences of LCFEED. 

In total, the event was attended by approximately one hundred fifty people from different regions of the world, presumably highly sensitized and/or specialized in environmental issues.
