Diffusion

Among 2o18, Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), as a partner of project LIFE Low Carbon Feed (LCFEED), has done different diffusion activities in massive media and specialiced scientist journals.

On 6th July 2018 had place in Fuenterrobles (Utiel-Requena, Valencia), related to a conference cycle for young agricultures about good agricultural management practices and entrepreneurship in agriculture sector, an explanation about project Low Carbon Feed. 

On 7th May Director José Segarra, and Juan Jorro and Isabel Giménez from Fundación Low Carbon Economy, gave in Cheste (Valencia) a training called “Valorización de residuos agrícolas de cítricos” (Valorization of citric waste).

In march, UNIPROCA presented the project Low Carbon Feed to the technical team of cattle food-producers companies SETNA and NUTROFAR, during a formative days about animal nutrition in Rivas Vacia (Madrid, Spain).

Between 26th and 28th October it had place in complex La Petxina (Valencia) an event about bioconstruction with raw straw. 

3th December, Jorge Iranzo did an informative speech about Low Carbon Feed activities and benefits to the environmental educators from Servicio Devesa, located in La Albufera.

Between 10th and 11th November had place in Alboraya (Spain), the XIV Autonomous Congress of La Unió  “Solucions per a una agricultura i ramaderia de futur”.

UPV published the past 8th of november the scientific article “Use of orange leaves as a replacement for alfalfa in energy and nitrogen partitioning, methane emission and milk performance of Munciano-Granadina goats”.
