La Unió presented project Low Carbon Feed in its headquarters in Valencia, during a Journey about Rural Development, to the representats of Fundación Instituto Valenciano de Investigación y Formación Agroambiental (IVIFA) about the 11 Grupos de Acción Local en la Comunidad Valenciana (Local Action Groups in Valencian Autonomous Community), where their objectives and integration possibilities with this and another projects were explained.
Previously, La Unió had already disseminated the content of the LCF project in a course held in Líria on Agroecology and Climate Change aimed at agronomy students and professional farmers. Here it was explained that LCF is an agroecology 2.0 project since it allows the closure of energy and organic matter cycles, transforming the remains of citrus pruning and rice straw into an excellent quality feed for goats and other ruminants.
